The SEIRN

The SEIRN is an acronym for THE STRUCTURE OF EMOTIONAL INTELLIGENCE RESEARCH NETWORK. Founded on 2 November, 2010, as a mobile, philanthropic, social research, analysis and reporting arm of one of The ZAS Household's franchises legalised in Nigeria as a sole proprietorship (ZELOPHEHAD ADAH SAMPSON), The SEIRN has consummated diplomatic affinities around the world with its unparalleled slogan:

 "Emotions are the superstructure of drive; passivity, the fountain of futility and negation."

On 4 March, 2021, The SEIRN published a special edition of its mouthpiece (Sieved) to mark the maiden anniversary of ratification of lawful marriage between its two founding directors, Mr and Mrs Amy-Fall Zelophehad Adah-Sampson. That edition is reachable herein.

OTHER editions that have appeared on social media have been sampled into this release as follows:

1. Samia Suluhu Hassan: Statesmanship And Equality Of Generations

 The emergence of Lady Samia Suluhu Hassan as Tanzania's substitute for late Mr John Magufulli is accentuating interesting questions on governance in Africa.

To begin with, can feminism guarantee generation equality, since that agile and supportive masculine stamina cannot be ignored anywhere? Secondly, are politically-active women possessive of adequate statesmanship essential to abiding management of issues of state or can it only be hoped that they will rise to challenges as time fades? Thirdly, are the predominantly patriarchal, African constituencies ready for and well-aware of the leadership aptitudes of women in national fora and are they objective enough in judgement?

These questions are innately redolent of lessons and empathy for the men and the women to whose hands chance, faith and popular will have entrusted political power and roles of followership on the continent.

2. Esteemed As Nationalised

What is the basis of national pride; the drive of statesmanship; the cushion of civil turmoil and of social regeneration? Are nations capable of shame? How much national self-confidence is recoverable (and how soon) after ignominy? What do we do when very much of what guides individuals (so-called SPIRITUAL CENTRES OF SOCIETY) appears rather negligible in representative, political conduct?

The answers to those questions can be as subjective as thirst for water in societies without unified moral codes or bases of value judgements. Religious doctrine favours individualism while globalism teaches self-discipline within respect for (in fact, nonconforming) others and the frontiers of congruence have not found harmonisation.

The roots of national pride are, therefore, still blurred, for one cannot yet certify collectivism but humanism under a national identity as the basis of cohesion or belongingness in parts of the globe.

3. Banque Atlantique: True Economic Efficiency And Management In AfCFTA

It is not far-fetched, understanding on the challenges on Africa's economic oneness. All of them revolve on the current disparateness of AU-member-states' financial ecosystems.

Value proposition and conveyance alongside payment enablement and processing efficiencies constitute the most effective wedge of discomfiting mobility in integrating nations. These agitate for a uniform, professionally-managed financial system onto which to be hinged.

For AfCFTA, Banque Atlantique, Ecobank, First Bank and many other well-capitalised banking firms scattered on the continent can be quickly repositioned for the aforementioned. "The SEIRN" believes that Banque Atlantique's appointment of new management chiefs (Alexandra Awadi and Abdelmoumen Najoua) is a signal of an internal cultural adaptation to AfCFTA's precipitations.

If economic integration stultifies international exchange, it defeats itself.

4. NESSA: The Soul And The Glamour Of Sonority

Journeys have peaked and fallen; been begun anew to endless resolution but not a single, human generation has reached a consensus on the optimality of music's proximity to peace in souls.

Every piece of melody partitions the timetable of its enthusiast, represents a connection to life-purpose, galvanises drive and reengineers momentum for that person. Hence, while we may journey on identical routes, our psycho-emotional conduits and destinations are indisputably conditioned by musical thought-perceptions.

The songs of the Gabonese NESSA, the Senegalese Mariaa Siga and many more from Nigeria, South Africa et al have not only conduced to Africa's introspection on life but also shouldered the fuelling of ambition on the continent.

Today, "The SEIRN" appreciates them all with a specific, feminine mention in title NESSA. Let her sense of self sail in every of her rhythms!

C'est la que nous avons les maisons.

C'est la que nous somme les humaines.

C'est la que nous marchons véritablement

Dans les marches des intelligences;

Sans importance pour les leaders politiques;

Sans connexion avec les écoles en yeux.

C'est la que nous avons l'aliment.

Comment on va le faire pour nos?

6. <<Dis Moi>>: Mariaa Siga Of Casamance

Tell me when to see that light blinds.

Tell me how to learn of light's blindness.

Tell me where to hide from light's ambience

When fiercer its rays perforate my covers;

When more coldly it shatters my whimpers

With its deceitful penitence never charring a hair;

Never evoking sympathies in passers-by.

Tell me where segregation rests here

To overshadow truths in light's selflessness

(In its tranquility lives obeisance,

That thy will be not begrudged;

That thy life be not retarded).

Tell me where division resides here

To spearhead the silence of Mariaa;

To render Siga visionless on her birth.

Oh that Casamance be thus comme enfance aglow!

Nous avons le monde a côté de nos tres bien avant.

TELL ME OF LIGHT by Amy-Fall Adah-Sampson [Mrs] (as inspired by Mariaa Siga's "Dis Moi")
